Yanina

Viland

Collaborating with Yanina Villand, an artist whose work has received international acclaim and a presence,

offered a unique opportunity to bridge the worlds of fine art and cinematography. Yanina has built a global reputation that transcends the traditional boundaries of the tattoo industry. My objective was to step into her creative atmosphere and translate the intensity of her vision into a moving narrative. The project was a study in shared intentionality. Her meticulous attention to detail mirrored my own obsession with craftsmanship, providing a common language through which we could explore the intersection of our two mediums.

Approaching this world with a deep sense of curiosity, I aimed to capture the weight of her process, the deliberate choices and the raw, honest focus required to create art that is both permanent and deeply personal. This collaboration was driven by a commitment to her distinct aesthetic. By immersing myself in her visual world, I sought to create a piece that resonated with the same sincerity found in her own work. The final result is a reflection of two creative paths converging, resulting in a cinematic experience that honors the vulnerability and power of her artistic expression.
